What are the best free fonts for branding your logo?
Last week I made a new design for my blog’s header and logo. Have you noticed that?
Picking up new fonts is my favorite part of designing WordPress Themes. I could spend a whole day just browsing all free fonts and trying to pick which one I will use.
In June, I’ve been thinking to change something about my website. I want to give a new look – something new to my audiences. So I spend almost 3-4 hours creating a new header and logo. They’re really important parts of branding your website.
I’ve realized how much I love a good collection of free fonts for commercial use. I thought I’d create a new one with lots of new free fonts for you to download and use to brand your website. You can use them for logos, headers, branding for clients, mugs, stationery, t-shirt designs, or anything else you are planning to create.
I’ve talked about creating your blog’s color scheme or palette back in 2020. Now, fonts are easier to use and purchase. There are thousands of fonts you can choose from – even you can find free fonts for commercial use.
I know how frustrating it can be to find and download a “free font” then realize afterward that you can’t actually use it in your products to sell. So I thought this could be a helpful post if you want to know where to find free fonts for commercial use.

These fonts could be very useful if you’re starting your own creative business or want to make yourself look like a professional blogger, so I suggest you download all your favorites and keep them in separate folders on your computer.
I wanted to include fonts that were more on the fancy side than plain in this collection, so I searched for brush script, handwritten, and calligraphy fonts, including all the very best ones I could find.
One thing to keep in mind with these fonts is that you definitely can’t resell them. They are still the property of their owners (who deserve a lot of praise for being so generous). You can use the fonts in the design of items you’re using or selling (t-shirt print, eBook cover, logo, business card), however, you can’t resell the individual font files to anyone.

Yes, I definitely noticed the changes on your logo! Love the layering and emphasis. I’m so obsessed with fonts to the point where I can’t stop debating which looks better and more “me” haha. This is a great thing you’re doing! More power to you and the creators, of course. Thanks for sharing!

I love experimenting with different fonts and styles to see how it impacts the overall look and feel of a logo or a blog as a whole. It’s always impressive how one small change like that really can make such a significant difference to the overall feel. Huge shoutout to the generous creators that are willing to offer such great fonts to us for free.

Oh wow, Merry! These are beautiful fonts! You’re right, it is hard to find one that works with your brand, that you love, and that doesn’t have limitations on usage. I was trying to pick one or two of your examples that I loved most but it’s impossible! Thank you so much for sharing. ♥ I will be checking these out!

I’ve never thought of changing fonts for commercials but this makes sense. I have seen it too but didn’t think it would be something that would be for use. Like thought, just people want to use them for fun and not make it better.
