[A collaboration post – all thoughts are my own.]

Would you like a handy list of 2023 calendar events to assist you in starting and maintaining your schedule?
Currently, I’m looking for a digital calendar planner to get ready for the upcoming new year. You know, it’s simple to organize your time by adding fixed dates to your annual calendar. Everyday personal, professional, and home tasks, which frequently get misplaced in the rush and bustle of daily life, don’t need to be assumed to be in good standing or checked twice.
You might prevent yourself from having unneeded headaches throughout the year by taking a few minutes today. No matter if you use a paper planner or a digital one, it’s a good idea to include these events in your annual calendar as soon as possible.
Get ready to schedule your 2023 calendar
Have you ever spent time planning events for the upcoming year on your calendar?
A smart way to keep on track with your objectives and dreams is to review your calendar regularly and enter the relevant information. The following are some of the main reasons for taking the time to schedule things in your calendar for the upcoming year:
- You can quickly see whether or not you’re making progress with your personal and professional schedule.
- You don’t have to worry about important items because you’ve already scheduled them into your daily schedule – you won’t have to make room for these things in the future.
- You will have a heads-up when it comes to important tasks and won’t be caught off guard.
It can certainly seem daunting when it comes to scheduling items on your calendar. Not many people are going to spend an entire day adding items to their calendars. You’ve got a whole list of items that have to be scheduled within a 365-day timeframe. You’ll probably want to plan on scheduling times in your calendar at regular intervals. Here are a few scheduling strategies to try out:
- Schedule items by category: blogging tasks, translation services, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
- Schedule items by month: weekly blogging schedule, bills to pay, weekly report, etc.
2023 Calendar: Personal Items
Rest, relaxation, health, money, happiness, and everything in between are all examples of personal items. Add these events to your calendar to make sure you remember important annual dates:
1. Vacation time
If you’ve already set aside your vacation dates for the following year, add them in. If not, you may want to confirm your vacation plans with your place of work before adding the fixed date. Personally, I plan my first abroad vacation for next September 2024!
2. Celebrations: birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
List celebration dates for your loved ones. It can be weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduation dates, and other important celebrations.
3. Appointments: doctor, checkups, self-care, license, etc.
Make sure you’re keeping yourself and your loved ones with regular doctor’s appointments. You should also make a series of notes throughout the year to book appointments for self-care (salon, hairdresser, spa, etc) in the weeks to come. Other than these, you also need to review the expiration dates of all your personal identification cards (driver’s license and passport) and make a reminder to renew your license as necessary.
4. Entertainment: events, concerts, parties, etc.
Are you planning to attend a festival? Or did you purchase tickets for an upcoming concert? Make sure to add these exciting dates to your calendar.

2023 Calendar: Household Items
Every aspect of your home’s operation and maintenance involves household items. This may serve as a reminder for you to organize your papers in a filing cabinet or other storage space so that you can find what you need when you need it if you haven’t done so already.
5. Recurring bill payment
I usually schedule this every month because my bills aren’t paid automatically. List out the due date for all of your monthly bills on a piece of paper, then write down the due date next to each. Finally, put these dates into your calendar for reference.
6. Vehicle maintenance
Treat your vehicles well; your car or bike. Make a list of parts of your car you need to inspect. Make sure to schedule those maintenance dates in your calendar. If you’re not sure when you need things or services, at least schedule it every six months.
7. Utility
Homeowners have a lot of different items (water, gas, electricity, etc.) to deal with throughout the year. If you know you’ll have various inspections throughout the year, now’s the time to record those dates.
8. Home reparation
Make a note of any significant changes you have planned for your home, such as building, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other upgrades and repairs. Make sure to include these events on the calendar as soon as possible.
9. Home security
It’s important to keep your home safe. Make a note to check on these things every three months or as often as necessary to see if they still function properly or if they need to be updated, replaced, or just have their batteries changed.
2023 Calendar: Professional Items
Work items can emerge months in advance, while some only show up occasionally throughout the year. Nevertheless, by creating multiple keynotes for the next points, you can stay in the lead.
10. Projects
I have four days in September to complete the translation of a 16,000-word contract. If you have a project or assignment due soon, mark all of those important dates on your calendar right away. Have only a vague idea of what you’ll be working on in a few months? Make a note now so that you are not taken off guard.
11. Contracts
I like to write down my translation contract with other agencies. Keep track of these crucial dates in your daily schedule or somewhere else, such as a separate project calendar or to-do list, to keep them top of mind.
12. Invoices
You might wish to add these dates to your calendar if you’re in charge of accounts payable and/or receivable. A master calendar of things is another option you have so you can easily keep track of payments.
13. Work event; holidays
Have you been informed of any planned work or social events? You can take a moment to add these to your calendar if that is the case.
14. School items
Other than the above items, you can also add school or study items to your 2023 calendar. Add when your semester starts and end dates, individual and group assignments, when your classes or seminars begin, examination, presentation dates, school holidays or trips, etc. Check your school’s website for general information on all of these includes on school holidays, breaks, and vacation dates.

Thanks, Fadima 😀 I’m planning my 1st trip abroad next year so there are so many things to be prepared haha and I want to upgrade my career as well 😀
I love planning ahead of time, it makes me feel organised and calm. I definitely feel less stressed when I plan ahead. It is great to read a post who enjoys organisation also. They are some good things to plan in. Thank you for sharing!
