[A collaboration post – all thoughts are my own.]

Do you enjoy setting monthly goals to establish a purposeful mindset?
This year, I’ve put a lot of effort into developing personally. The most rewarding effort is personal growth since it values dedication to the most important goals. I created my daily schedule and monthly goals at the start of 2020 in order to accomplish more success both personally and professionally.
Schedules and responsibilities might become a little chaotic. These are basically the monthly goals I set so you can grow in the following month and be surprised by the rate at which your productivity and success rise.
Stretch your muscles more often
Although I used to really enjoy running, I’m not a sports/fitness freak. I didn’t exercise much as I got older since I was more preoccupied with my job and life. However, because I spend so much time sitting at work, I make an effort to stretch my muscles every few minutes.
Read one book
I got my first computer in 2005 and I like to use it to type something. Kids are curious by nature, whether it be about something they heard or observed. I was able to find every answer to my questions thanks to the internet. Since I was young, I’ve read a lot of books and articles online. Because I read often, my perspective is expanding and my mind is becoming more open.
Reading helps one see how an idea develops into a motion that inspires one to take action. I learn about many cultures, the various ways people think, and the various languages spoken throughout the world. If you read one book a month, you will have read 12 new novels this year. What amazing ideas will you encounter and be able to put into practice each month?
Learn a new skill
Learn a new skill to complement what you already know or something unusual in order to broaden your horizons. I recently purchased some painting supplies in order to use them on the weekends. I still have the supplies from when I used to knit and draw in elementary school. I want to continue doing it so that I can unwind and lessen my work-related stress.
Other than continuing a skill I have had in the past, I also want to add more subjects to my translation skill. Last month I got to translate a 35-page contract about plant construction. I usually translate general documents such as short stories, book synopsis, marketing, technology, or games. I don’t often translate contracts because it involves a lot of time researching and using legal jargon that I don’t really understand. To make my work easier and since learning new skills will help me feel much more confident, I want to study it more thoroughly.
Get to know someone new
I made online friends with a number of foreigners who I later met in Bali to chill out or practice our languages. The majority of them have been living in Bali for some time or have plans to do so. By expanding your network and meeting new people, you can raise your net worth. Your network’s diversity will increase the magnitude of your impact.

Clear the cluttered closet
How often have you uttered the phrase “I have nothing to wear”? The majority of the time, this is because your stuff is being swamped by your outfit choices. You can only see what you wore last week, which doesn’t seem new or fresh. De-clutter your closet to make it more effective. Get new clothing and donate what doesn’t fit; stop making excuses for not having anything to wear. An organized mind is like a clean closet.
Find your morning rhythm
The mornings are key for kicking off your day. By preparing your day well, you may dress it for success. Even on days off, wake up at a consistent hour each day. Do what you can to get ready before going to bed. Write down all of your ideas and thoughts in a planner or a notebook. Before you start out on your feet, sip some water. Find your magic morning rhythm by making slight tweaks here and there. Play to your strengths, don’t forget that.
Unsubscribe to email lists
Who needs more clutter and junk mail? Delete anything you won’t be needing this month. If necessary, you may always re-subscribe. Who doesn’t need more time? When you clear your inbox, you have more time to concentrate on your interests. Unsubscribe from anything that is not necessary each month to start increasing your productivity.
Spend time in quiet
Spending time alone allows you to slow down so you can notice what’s in front of you. Given that most people are constantly on the go, learning this ability takes practice. It makes room for speeding up when you create space to slow down. Spending time alone in silence will help you achieve your goals faster. Take note of what the quietness is trying to tell you.
These are just some of my monthly goals and keep in mind that all goals may not be met. Therefore, don’t lose hope in what you can change. You are allowing yourself to achieve what you can visualize and perceive by setting monthly goals. Life isn’t about the achievements; it’s about the process leading up to them. Make yours right now!

Awesome goals, especially for stretching everyday. 👍🙂
