Log Data
Merry of August follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and are a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Contact forms
If you fill in a contact form, the details (personal data) you enter will be sent to the recipient email box so that they can reply to your email. We may ask for personal information, but only if you voluntarily provide it to us. This includes Name and Email.
This data is considered “identifying information”, as it can personally identify you. We only request personal information relevant to providing you with a service, and only use it to help provide or improve this service.

Cookies
Like any other website, Merry of August uses ‘cookies’. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We use Google Analytics to monitor traffic to this site and to monitor traffic from subscription emails sent via Convertkit. automatically collect and store certain information in their server logs which includes device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your Google Account, in accordance with their data privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
It does not collect names, emails or any physical addresses. This data is used solely for the purposes of monitoring traffic to wpkind.com. All data is kept for 26 months before being automatically deleted.

We embed a Facebook widget to allow you to see the number of likes/shares/recommend and /share/recommend” our webpages.
