I truly LOVE this month. Not only because this is my birthday month, but I have this ‘comfortable’ feeling about August. As an Indonesian citizen, we are going to celebrate our Independence Day on August 17. The day I’ve always looked forward to since I was a child. I remember when I was in school, we only had a flag-raising ceremony in the schoolyard. Then I would run home and sit in front of the television to watch the live broadcast of the flag-raising at the Presidential Palace. I’ve always loved the feeling of joy when I saw that flag being flown.
