[A collaboration post – all thoughts are my own.]

Congratulations on your engagement!
Now it is time to be creative, and have fun with your wedding invitations! Wedding invitations are a lovely way to establish the mood of your wedding while giving guests key information about the big day. Before, wedding invitations were produced with little customization. But there are now lots of options when it comes to personalizing your wedding invites.
Save the Dates are typically sent out nine to twelve months in advance as a reminder to guests that they must make plans in order to attend your wedding, such as making travel or lodging reservations or applying for time off work. The invitations, which are mailed three months before the wedding and may be accompanied by enclosure cards, RSVP cards, and opulent envelopes, are, of course, the focal point of the stationery suite.

Looking for wedding invitations where you can get an instant preview online?
I’ll be pleased to spare you hours of research. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. As a customer, you’re given the option of changing the color of each element on the card after choosing a design. With more than 180 color options, you can customize the invitation to your exact specifications. This is what sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company.
The foil cards are available in gold, silver, and my favorite color, rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. Other than that, you can request a printed sample of your actual invitations from Basic Invite before placing the final order. In order to ensure that the card is flawless, you may check the paper quality and the printing process. Great, isn’t it ?!

With so many possibilities, you may choose to customize your envelopes to match the invitation; there are more than 40 distinct envelope colors available. All of the envelopes are peeled and sealed so they can be closed quickly and securely.
And here is what I love! They offer an address-capturing service that allows you to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request your friends’ and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in your account and can be selected during the design process. At no cost at all!

After creating your wedding invitation, you may want to upgrade it a little bit or add a difference in detail. Let’s take a closer look at how you can save even more money doing it!
Get your own personalized stamp
I love anything personalized—whether it’s self-care gifts, or anniversary gifts, and the best one is a personalized stamp. You can use a personalized stamp for making your wedding invites or add a return address on the wedding invitation envelopes.
Use an embosser
Other than a personalized stamp, using a customized embosser would take your envelopes from ‘plain’ to ‘pretty’ wedding invitations. Your guests won’t be able to resist the exquisite touch it brings!
Address your invitations with calligraphy

I don’t know about you, but I find that handwriting is more significant than typing. Handwritten calligraphy may be a great finishing touch to add to your wedding invites when adding names or writing down addresses on envelopes. So, if you want your wedding invitations to stand out, improve your calligraphy skills with a tutorial you may find online. This DIY invitation is ideal if you want to set an elegant and sophisticated tone for your wedding!

Seal with wax
My dream wedding invitation is one that is sealed with wax. You can create your own logo that you can use for the personalized stamp to seal your envelope with wax and make it seem like it’s an official notice from royalty. You can pick these up in online stores or craft stores. You need to practice first before doing 200 of them at once. Too much wax can look like a mess!
Put a ribbon
Your wedding invitations look beautiful with a ribbon added, and it’s the best way to keep everything inside the envelope and tie your invitations to your theme. Choose a texture that fits the theme and a color that complements your wedding (rose gold for me!). Use twine and add a flower to the bow’s knot as an extra for a rustic-themed wedding, for instance. A sprig of lavender would work well. If you want something a little more classy, try velvet or silk!
I hope you’ve found some amazing ideas for your wedding invites, especially when you’re offered unlimited color options, check the paper quality and the printing process, and more than 40 distinct envelope colors available from Basic Invite!
Your guests will consider themselves very lucky to receive such special invitations to such a wonderful event!
