It’s July! And a month away to welcome my birthday month, August! Yes, I’m Leo guys. Where are you my Leo buddies?
Anyway, this is my second wrap-up of the monthly series. Wonder how is my May going by? Read over Journey of May – which I took a break from blogging.
Without any further ado, let’s dive into my Journey of June.
Journey of June: Life
June is relaxing month to me!
I visited a traditional art market with my mother. It took about 30 minutes to get there by car. We met a lot of handicraft sellers. Because the pandemic has been going on for more than a year here, Bali is experiencing a slump, especially in the tourism sector.
Many small shops are having economic difficulties so when we entered the shop, many merchants were scrambling for us to buy their goods. Even though it wasn’t much, I made an effort to buy some items that I found useful from several shops. Apart from being able to help them, I also feel happy because I can be outside for some time.
A week later my mother and I returned to our village and spent more than two weeks there. The village atmosphere is refreshing compared to the city so I feel very comfortable here. From morning to night, my family was so busy with the preparation of traditional events. As you know, Bali is famous for its customs and traditions – almost every day here there is a religious day.
After more than a week at home, we finally decided to spend the weekend visiting the hot springs. We also visited white sand beaches and other tourist attractions. What an amazing weekend!

Journey of June: Blogging
In terms of blogging, I’ve made it through June just fine. I worked with several brands and published a total of 11 posts – I decided to publish my articles every Monday and Friday.
I’m celebrating a year of blogging on June 11th by publishing 130 Pinterest templates – which you can get only $17,50 with code “MONODREAME50“. I made 25 bold templates, 25 feminine templates, 40 stylish templates, and 40 seasonal templates. It’s really great to celebrate my 1st year of blogging!
In aspect of growing my blog, I don’t want to care about numbers anymore (stats, followers, income, etc) so I just let everything go as it should. I really want to grow my social platforms but the constantly updated algorithm makes me lose motivation. I know I need to find my way back so I can catch up on some of the things I missed the previous month!

Journey of June: Reading
I managed to read 12 books in June! I’m back to reading after having blogging burnout last month and it affected my mood swings. After giving it some thought (and read so many reviews), I’ve decided to move from Goodreads to Storygraph.
So here 12 books that I read in June:
Have you read some of these books?
