When it comes to summer the garden is the place to be. Everybody wants to be out in the fresh air and enjoy the summer sun. What is more, everyone wants to be able to do this with relative ease and certainly a degree of comfort. To help you do this and create the perfect outdoor space for you and your guests here are some garden must-have items to help get the most out of your garden.
Shade
As lovely as the sun is it can be dangerous and a little too intense at times. It is important therefore that you can offer up a degree of shade when spending large amounts of time in the garden. If you want to add shade to a budget consider investing in a parasol or large umbrella that can be put away when it is not in use. Alternatively, if you want something a little more permanent then consider building a covered area that can provide shade in the summer and shelter in the winter or cooler months so that you can enjoy your garden for longer.
Outdoor kitchen
Food and drink can create great social occasions whether you are home with the family or entertaining guests. It is not uncommon for guests to gather in the kitchen at indoor parties so it stands to reason that an outdoor kitchen will enjoy sustained use. Building an outdoor kitchen can change how often and indeed how you use your garden. It will make it more social and you will be more likely to sit outside for longer and more often, not to mention it will be more practical.
You can enjoy a variety of meals outside without having to walk back in through the house to get what you need and use the fridge. An outdoor kitchen is a great addition to any home that will also increase its value.
Garden furniture
Good garden furniture is imperative when it comes to enjoying your garden. Just like your living room, you will want somewhere that is comfortable to sit and you will want it to look good. Maze Rattan furniture is a great stylish option for garden furniture that doesn’t comprise comfort and quality. When choosing your garden furniture you want to ensure that it will stand the test of time and hold up to all weather types.
Storage
Garden storage is another must-have that offers up many practical benefits. You will need storage to keep your garden looking tidy, to store all the bits and bobs you need for the garden that you don’t want lying around. This could be gardening equipment such as trimmers and lawnmowers. Storage is also handy to keep items in that cannot stand up to the elements, such as parasols, furniture, and blankets. Finally, if you have a family then storage will be needed to keep all of the children’s garden paraphernalia such as footballs, skipping ropes, rackets, and other outdoor garden toys that they enjoy.

Gosh we definitely couldn’t afford an outdoor kitchen. My kitchen is literally 2 steps away from the garden, so I probably wouldn’t consider that a must-have, haha! But nice garden furniture is always a must x
I love garden even tho I don’t have the best green thumb but it one of my goals to have natural plant shades (is that even a thing?) My kitchen is next to my patio so I like opening my window and kinda bird watch
